Yay! I finally got myself a diary. I've been meaning to write things down for a while now. I finally moved all my crap into my apartment! It's really weird being alone, but I think I could get used to all the quiet. I start at Bellview High soon. I've never been to a public city school, so I don't really know what to expect. Maybe I'll make some new friends. I don't know anyone in New York. At least, not yet. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll meet some people...

You won't believe it! I made my first real friend! She's super nice, her name is Mia. I had a panic attack in gym class and she was just amazing. She helped me out, she gave me a hug, she made me feel a zillion times better. I think we're going to be such awesome friends. She's a freshman, but that doesn't matter! I think we're going to be best friends (forever!). I'm so happy though. I don't feel as alone now.
